HT STARCH is a starch-based filtrate controller. It is designed to work at high temperature in water-base mud. If HT STARCH is tested as per the specification of drilling grade starch in API 13A/ISO13500, namely in 4% salt mud and in saturated salt mud, plus hot roll both test mud at 140C (284F) for 16 hours, HT STARCH will fully meet the specification of API 13A/ISO13500.

 

HT STARCH is specially chemical treatment, to be able to hydrate in cold water and brine, and to work at higher temperature than conventional carboxymethyl starch.

 

HT STARCH is friendly to environment and presents little toxicity to human body.
