Oil-BASED PRODUCTS

UNIMUL HT is a premium grade high-temperature emulsifier for invert emulsion mud systems. It can be used in diesel, mineral oil and paraffin based formulations. It is designed to provide superior emulsification and wetting capability.  It also improves thermal stability, rheological property and high-temperature, high-pressure (HTHP) filtration control. The product is stable at temperatures above 350°F (176°C) up to 400°F (204°C). The recommended dosages vary from 6 to 18 lb/bbl (16.8 to 50.4 kg/m3), depending on the mud weight and oil-water ratio. Wetting agent may be added at 1-2 lb/bbl (2.8 to 5.6 kg/m3) concentrations, but it is often time not necessary as the emulsifier would provide sufficient wetting even at high mud weight under high temperatures.

 

The product is packaged in 55-gal (208 liter) drums and can be packaged in 550-gal (2080 liter) tote tanks upon request.  The product should be stored in dry and well-ventilated area.  Keep away from direct sunlight, heat and sparks.
